Where's the Disney magic?
The production and staging were fine, but the skating was barely at the expected level from Chase Matthew. The sound was loud enough to overwhelm anyone's hearing, making it disappointing on many levels. The hawking of popcorn, cotton candy, and go go light sticks at ridiculous prices was the worst part. $15 for popcorn or cotton candy with a cheap Disney item attached? $30 for a cheap flashing light stick? Awful! Despite being a big fan of Disney heroines, the 8-year-old we took looked bored to tears. Her bland reaction spoke volumes. My advice would be to get the DVD, make your own popcorn, and attend a real ice show for great skating experience.
